Our leadership team, comprising highly experienced teachers and staff leaders, are the pillars of our strength and success. As the link between philosophy and action, the role of our leadership team is crucial in personalising our approach of Amazing Learning for the benefit of each and every child.

Beyond classroom education, our teachers are committed to helping students develop core attributes necessary to attain success in their careers and life. This is achieved through instilling a sense of independence and resilience in them.

Andrew Britnell
Campus Principal

Andrew joined Tenby International School Setia EcoHill in September 2019 and brings to the table more than 20 years of teaching experience. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology with Environmental Applications and is currently pursuing an MSc in Educational Leadership. 

Andrew has taken on a varied range of management and developmental roles throughout his career in education. Among them are positions as Principal, Member of School Executive Board, Head of Secondary, Head of Primary, Head of Sixth Form, IB Coordinator, and Head of Faculty. Andrew is skilled in developing a cooperative and collaborative team teaching environment which improves the educational experience for all students.

Meet our Leadership Team

Martin Shelley
Head of Secondary

Martin holds a BA in English Literature and Philosophy and joined Tenby International School Setia EcoHill in September 2019. Hailing from New Zealand, he has lived in Malaysia for five years and is well acquainted with the local education system.

A specialist in English, Martin has taught English Language and Literature to A Level students with great success. His addition to Tenby Setia EcoHill will help students scale new heights in mastering the English language.

Madeleine Britton
Head of Primary

With over 25 years of teaching experience, Madeleine joined Tenby International School Setia EcoHill in September 2019 as Head of Primary. She is an advocate for lifelong learning and has a clear vision of the purpose of quality education.

Madeleine strives to create a successful learning culture which enables all students to become effective, enthusiastic, independent learners, ready to make a positive contribution to the world they live in. She too is currently pursuing the MSc in Educational Leadership.
